About The Job:

- We are seeking an experienced UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator with strong expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex heterogeneous environments.

- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple UNIX platforms, hardware deployment, and datacenter operations, ensuring high availability and performance of critical production systems

Essential Job Functions:

- Administer and maintain physical and virtual UNIX-based hosts across Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE) and Solaris platforms.

- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for UNIX operational issues.

- Manage servers across multiple locations, including Linux, Solaris, and VMware environments.

- Configure and deploy hardware devices such as Client DL/BL Series Servers, Sun Hardware, Super Micro, and Client Blade/Enclosure platforms.

- Oversee datacenter operations and infrastructure health.

- Implement PXE installations, Kickstart configurations, patching, and package management.

- Investigate, diagnose,



and resolve technical issues impacting service availability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization.

- Provide after-hours support for critical business activities.

- Share knowledge and ensure smooth knowledge transfer among team members.

Qualifications

- EXP- 5-10 Years

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ·Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, SUSE, and Solaris.

- Cross-platform administration experience in complex environments.

- In-depth troubleshooting skills for UNIX operations.

- Familiarity with storage technologies, SAN, and RAID concepts.

- Hands-on experience with hardware configuration and deployment.

- Experience in datacenter operations and infrastructure management.

- Knowledge of PXE boot, Kickstart automation, patching, and package management.

- Proficiency in VMware environments and clustering technologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work flexible schedule and handle critical escalations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors / Masters degree in any stream

- Certifications in Linux/UNIX administration (RHCE, Solaris Certified, etc.).

- Experience with automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python,



Ansible).
