About The Job:
- Senior Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) Consultant to act as the technical architect and lead for the client’s enterprise integration platform.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), and B2B for Oracle.
- Responsible for design, development, deployment, and support of mission-critical integrations connecting Oracle EBS with on-premise and cloud applications.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and advanced troubleshooting for middleware services.
- Ensure robust, reliable, and efficient data flow across the enterprise.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead architecture and design of enterprise integration solutions using Oracle FMW components.
- Create and maintain high-level and low-level technical design documents.
- Establish and enforce best practices for SOA, OSB, and B2B (error handling, logging, performance optimization, reusability).
- Evaluate business requirements and recommend appropriate integration patterns and technologies.
- Develop integration services using SOA Suite components (BPEL, Mediator,
Adapters – DB, File, AQ, Apps).
- Design and implement service virtualization, routing, and transformation logic using OSB Proxy Services, Business Services, and Pipelines.
- Configure and manage B2B integrations, trading partner agreements, document types (EDI X12/EDIFACT), and channels.
- Implement complex data transformations using XSLT, XQuery, and Java.
- Develop and manage deployment scripts and processes (WLST, Ant, Maven).
- Serve as the highest technical escalation point for all FMW-related production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis using FMW Enterprise Manager, logs, and diagnostic tools.
- Proactively monitor middleware health (managed servers, JMS queues, SOA/OSB composites).
- Troubleshoot B2B message processing issues (acknowledgements, failed transactions).
Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years of experience designing, developing, and administering Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions (11g/12c).
- Oracle SOA Suite: Expert in BPEL, Mediator, Human Workflow.
- Adapters: Database, JMS, File/FTP, Oracle Apps Adapter.
- Oracle Service Bus (OSB): Proficient in message enrichment, content-based routing, and protocol switching.
- B2B for Oracle: Skilled in trading partner setup, document definitions (EDI), and message processing.
- WebLogic Server (WLS): Configuration, administration, and performance tuning.
- Web Services: SOAP, WSDL, REST, XML, XSD, JSON, XSLT, XQuery.
Highly Desirable:
- Development tools: JDeveloper, Eclipse (OEPE).
- Strong Java skills for OSB/BPEL callouts and custom adapter development.
- Scripting (WLST, Ant, Shell) for automation.
- Experience integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Exposure to ETL tools (ODI, Informatica).

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
