Role ObjectiveOwn and transform the end-to-end supply chain to drive cost efficiency, speed, and scalability. The role requires deep expertise in warehouse optimization, logistics cost reduction, WMS implementation, and e-commerce fulfillment excellence.

Key Responsibilities1.

Warehouse

Operations &

- Optimization
- Redesign warehouse layouts, processes, and workflows to improve throughput and accuracy
- Drive manpower productivity improvement (output per person, automation opportunities)
- Reduce picking, packing, and dispatch TATs
- Implement SOPs for inventory handling, QC, returns, and damages
- Optimize space utilization and storage systems

2. WMS Implementation &
- Digitization

- Lead end-to-end WMS selection, implementation, and stabilization
- Integrate WMS with ERP, marketplaces, and internal systems
- Ensure real-time inventory visibility and tracking
- Train teams and drive adoption across warehouse operations
- Build dashboards for daily operational control

3. Logistics &
- Transportation Cost Reduction

- Negotiate with transporters, 3PLs, and courier partners
- Optimize route planning, load utilization, and shipment consolidation
- Reduce freight cost per unit across GT, retail, and e-commerce




- Build alternate vendor base to avoid dependency and improve pricing
- Monitor and improve delivery SLAs

4. E-commerce Fulfillment Excellence

- Manage order processing across marketplaces and D2C channels
- Ensure high fill rates, low cancellations, and quick dispatch timelines
- Optimize packaging costs and reduce RTO (return-to-origin)
- Work closely with marketplace teams to improve seller ratings and SLAs
- Handle peak load planning (sales, campaigns, seasonal spikes)

Inventory

Planning &
- Control
- Ensure optimal inventory levels across warehouses and channels
- Minimize stock-outs and overstock situations
- Improve inventory turns and reduce dead stock
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits

6. Data-Driven Decision Making

- Track key metrics: cost per order, warehouse productivity, fill rate, delivery timelines, inventory accuracy
- Use data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
- Build MIS and reporting cadence for leadership

7. Team Leadership

- Build a high-performance operations team
- Reduce dependency on excess manpower through process improvements
- Set KPIs and drive accountability across warehouse and logistics teams
