Role & responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall Engineering, Maintenance, Waste Management & CSSD operations.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation and maintenance of critical hospital engineering systems.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, breakdown management and equipment performance.
- Prepare and control annual/monthly budgets with focus on cost optimization and energy conservation.
- Manage engineering projects, AMC vendors, contractors and service partners.
- Drive operational efficiency, equipment uptime, safety, quality and compliance standards.
- Develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions for operational challenges.
- Lead and develop engineering teams; identify training needs and improve staff performance.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, external agencies and stakeholders.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by HOD/Management.
