Role Description The Senior Structural Designer will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and optimizing structural designs for industrial facilities and related projects. Day-to-day activities include preparing detailed construction drawings, performing structural analysis and design calculations, coordinating with civil and mechanical engineering teams, and ensuring designs comply with applicable codes and standards. The role involves using computer-aided design (CAD) tools to produce accurate layouts and steel design details, supporting project planning, and providing technical input during site execution and inspections.

Designer will collaborate with project managers, vendors, and clients to resolve design issues and maintain quality and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to perform structural analysis and design for industrial projects.
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings, including preparation, review, and interpretation of structural and civil layouts.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for structural detailing, modeling, and documentation.
- Knowledge of Steel Design principles, codes, and standards relevant to industrial structures.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably within manufacturing or related sectors.
- Familiarity with relevant national and international building codes, safety standards, and quality practices.
- Ability to work on-site, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple design assignments within deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and transparent written and verbal communication.
- Professional certifications in structural design or CAD software and prior experience in Patna or similar industrial regions are advantageous.
