We are looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Mahape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management, maintenance, and optimization of our database infrastructure supporting critical banking and financial applications

You will play a key role in performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and production support across our Core Banking System (CBS), Loan Origination System (LOS), Loan Management System (LMS), and digital banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, maintain, and administer SQL Server databases across production and non-production environments.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization to ensure high efficiency.
- Implement and manage Backup, Recovery, Replication, and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
- Configure and maintain High Availability (HA) and Always-On environments.
- Monitor database health, security, and availability on a 24/7 basis.
- Provide production support and handle critical incidents with quick resolution.
- Ensure database security,



encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, and scripting.

Required Skills (Mandatory)

- SQL Server Solid hands-on administration experience
- Performance Tuning Query optimization, index management, and wait stats analysis
- Backup & Recovery Full, differential, log backups, and point-in-time recovery
- HA/DR Architecture – Always-On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping, Replication
- T-SQL & Scripting – PowerShell, automation scripts
- Database Security & Auditing – Encryption, access control, compliance

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

- PostgreSQL or MySQL administration experience
- Experience in Banking, Fintech, CBS, LOS, or LMS domains
- Knowledge of cloud database platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS)

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science / IT) or MCA from a recognized university
- 5+ years of relevant DBA experience
