We are looking for an experienced Senior Solar Design Engineer responsible for designing and engineering rooftop solar PV systems, preparing technical drawings and BOQs, conducting site feasibility assessments, and coordinating with clients, DISCOM/MSEDCL, procurement, and project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design Rooftop Solar PV systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and captive projects.

- Prepare PV system layouts, SLDs, electrical drawings, and structural layouts.

- Perform shadow analysis, string sizing, inverter selection, module configuration, and system sizing.

- Prepare detailed BOQ/BOM for solar projects.

- Conduct and review site surveys and assess roof area, orientation, shading, electrical infrastructure, and installation feasibility.

- Prepare designs based on actual site conditions and project requirements.

- Prepare AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation for execution.

- Coordinate with the Project, Electrical, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure designs are technically and commercially suitable.

- Review and approve drawings prepared by junior design engineers.





- Handle net metering and DISCOM/MSEDCL technical requirements and documentation.

- Coordinate with MSEDCL/DISCOM teams for technical clarifications and approvals wherever required.

- Ensure designs comply with applicable MNRE, CEA, DISCOM and electrical safety standards.

- Assist the execution team with technical clarifications during installation and commissioning.

- Review inverter, module, structure, cable, protection and other equipment specifications.

- Prepare technical proposals, single-line diagrams, layouts, datasheets and project documentation.

- Troubleshoot design-related issues during project execution.

- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, BOQs and project documents.

- Mentor and guide junior Solar Design Engineers.

Pay: ₹23,473.51 - ₹38,393.13 per month
