Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer II (iOS) with deep expertise in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS application architecture . In this role, you will lead the development of robust mobile solutions, drive modernization initiatives, mentor engineers, and contribute to the technical direction of our iOS platform.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in designing scalable mobile applications, modernizing legacy Objective-C codebases, implementing clean architectural patterns, and delivering high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Lead implementation of complex features and take ownership of critical application domains.




- Drive architectural decisions utilizing MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Dependency Injection.
- Modernize legacy Objective-C codebases through incremental migration to Swift.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs, JSON services, and secure API communications.
- Utilize profiling and diagnostic tools such as Xcode Instruments and Xcode Organizer to optimize application performance.
- Apply security best practices and OWASP mobile security principles.
- Develop solutions with a customer-first mindset and strong attention to user experience.
- Evaluate technical alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.

Engineering Excellence
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and refactoring initiatives.
- Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, API documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Implement testing strategies, including unit testing and integration testing.
- Analyze and resolve complex production issues through advanced debugging techniques.
- Contribute to automation, build tooling,



and engineering productivity initiatives.

Collaboration & Process
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release activities.
- Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, and Engineering teams to define requirements and influence platform roadmaps.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations effectively.
- Collaborate closely with backend and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Mentorship & Leadership
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Support the establishment of coding standards and development practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and contribute to team-wide improvements.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience
- 6+ years of professional experience in iOS mobile application development.
- Extensive experience with Objective-C and Swift.
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex mobile applications.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, projects, or engineering workstreams.
- Experience modernizing and maintaining large-scale mobile codebases.
