About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, from solution design and development through to cloud deployment and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with React, Node.js and Spring Boot , along with hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure . You should be comfortable working across frontend, backend and cloud environments and taking ownership of features end-to-end within a growing product engineering team.

This is a fully office-based role in Silchar , and candidates must be available to work on-site full time.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using React .
- Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Java with Spring Boot .
- Design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations connecting different product modules and services.
- Deploy, configure and manage applications and services on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Work with cloud infrastructure, application hosting, storage, databases, networking and related cloud services.
- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and release processes across cloud environments.
- Monitor cloud-hosted applications, troubleshoot deployment and performance issues, and contribute to application reliability and scalability.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented and maintainable code.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas and optimise queries.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, database, integration and cloud layers.
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA and Design teams to deliver features end-to-end.




- Participate in code reviews and help establish and maintain engineering best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation, deployment procedures and operational support.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers where required.

Required Skills & Experience Development

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React for modern frontend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot for developing backend services and APIs.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript .
- Experience designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs .
- Good understanding of application architecture and software design principles.

Cloud & Deployment
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure .
- Experience deploying and supporting production applications in cloud environments.
- Understanding of core cloud services including compute, storage, databases, networking, security and monitoring .
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployment .
- Understanding of cloud security, access management and environment configuration.
- Experience troubleshooting cloud application, deployment and performance issues.

Database & Backend
- Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server .
- Experience working with NoSQL databases is advantageous.
- Valuable understanding of authentication,



authorisation and application/data security practices.
- Experience troubleshooting application performance and backend integration issues.

Engineering Practices
- Experience with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience participating in code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience developing ERP, CRM, HR, eCommerce or other enterprise SaaS products .
- Experience with microservices architecture .
- Experience with Docker and containerised deployments .
- Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies .
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications or integrations .
- Experience working in a product-led or start-up engineering environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
