Senior ServiceNow Product Developer/Engineer

Role Overview: The Senior ServiceNow Product Developer / Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting ITSM solutions across multiple workflows. This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical solutions aligned with roadmap priorities, platform standards, and sprint commitments.

The role operates with limited supervision, partners closely with the Product Owner, and contributes to platform stability, scalability, and user experience while mentoring less experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities

- - Being able to deliver expected outcomes and business value with minimal supervision from ITSM Platform Product Owner based on PI Planning and Development Sprints.
- Design, develop, configure, and support ITSM solutions across IT Workflows, HR, ITOM, CMDB, and the Employee Portal.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, scripts, and integrations following established platform standards.




- Support and implement platform upgrades, enhancements, and patches with a focus on performance and stability.
- Develop and support integration using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other standard ServiceNow integration mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers through code reviews, pairing, and best-practice sharing.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

- - 5+ years of experience in development and engineering in Workflow Management Systems (ServiceNow or similar Service Management Tools)
- Proven experience with different type of integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.)
- Robust understanding of platform architecture and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Architect is a plus
