Role- Head Counselor

Qualification: Masters Degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology or related field

Experience: 5-8 years | Preferred: CBSE School Experience

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual & group counselling to students addressing academic, behavioural, emotional and social concerns.
- Identify students requiring counselling/intervention, maintain confidential records and ensure structured case follow-ups.
- Coordinate with Teachers, Academic Heads, Parents & School Leadership for comprehensive student wellbeing.
- Conduct Life Skills, Stress Management, Emotional Wellbeing, Cyber Safety & Mental Health Awareness sessions.
- Monitor student progress, manage referrals and ensure timely follow-up and case closure.
- Lead and manage the Counselling Team work allocation, case distribution, monitoring and follow-ups.
- Plan and conduct Parenting Sessions / Parent Awareness Programmes.
- Support Child Protection, Student Wellbeing, Safeguarding & Inclusive Education initiatives.
- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, counselling practices and career development/training programmes.
