Senior SAP Project Manager

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP Project Manager with 20+ years of overall experience in SAP project and program management, enterprise transformation, and global delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale SAP implementations, transformation programs, global rollouts, and complex multi-country projects across various regions, including Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Americas.

The candidate should have strong experience working with global organizations, managing geographically distributed teams, and engaging with senior business stakeholders, CXO-level executives, SAP partners, and system integrators across multiple countries and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation, transformation, migration, and global rollout programs.
- Manage complex SAP projects across multiple countries, business units, and geographical regions.
- Own project planning, execution, governance, budget, scope, timelines, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Lead geographically distributed and multicultural teams across India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the United States, and Canada, as applicable to project requirements.
- Establish effective project governance, steering committees, project reviews, status reporting, and executive-level communication.
- Act as a senior point of contact for global clients and CXO-level stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with business stakeholders, SAP teams, implementation partners, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
- Drive project delivery in line with agreed scope, quality, timelines, budget, and business objectives.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.




- Coordinate SAP functional and technical teams across multiple workstreams and geographical locations.
- Oversee project milestones, deliverables, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and transition to support.
- Manage change requests and ensure appropriate impact assessment and stakeholder approvals.
- Drive effective communication and collaboration across different countries, cultures, and time zones.
- Provide regular project dashboards, status reports, and management updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance standards, quality processes, and organizational policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, delivery optimization, and business value realization.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution discussions, project estimations, proposals, and client presentations when required.

Note: Experience across these countries/regions will be considered based on the candidate's actual project and client exposure. Strong experience in multi-country SAP implementations and global transformation programs is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications &

• Experience

- 20+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial experience in SAP project/program management.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end SAP projects and large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Proven experience managing projects across multiple countries and international regions.
- Strong experience with global SAP implementations, rollouts, migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing large, multicultural, and geographically distributed teams.




- Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and the complete project lifecycle.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or other SAP enterprise solutions is highly preferred.
- Understanding of SAP functional and technical landscapes, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and executive-level communication.
- Experience working with global enterprise clients and large organizations.
- Robust vendor, partner, and system integrator management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

They should be capable of managing large global teams, multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders, international clients, vendors, and system integrators, while ensuring successful delivery of SAP programs within agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives.

Strong global mobility, cross-cultural communication, international project management, and multi-country delivery experience will be highly valued.
