Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP EWM Consultant with 6+ years of experience to design, configure, implement, and support SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. The candidate should have strong experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM, warehouse business processes, integration, implementation, rollout, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and understand business requirements related to warehouse and logistics processes.
- Design and configure SAP EWM solutions based on business requirements.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Configure warehouse organizational structure, including:
- Warehouse Number
- Storage Types
- Storage Sections
- Storage Bins
- Activity Areas
- Work Centers
- Doors and Staging Areas
- Configure and support Inbound Processes, including:
- Inbound Deliveries
- Goods Receipt
- Putaway
- Handling Units
- Quality Inspection Integration
- Configure and support Outbound Processes, including:
- Outbound Deliveries
- Picking
- Packing
- Staging
- Goods Issue
- Configure internal warehouse processes such as:
- Stock Transfers
- Replenishment
- Posting Changes
- Physical Inventory
- Cycle Counting
- Configure Warehouse Process Types (WPT).
- Configure Putaway and Stock Removal strategies.
- Work with Process-Oriented Storage Control (POSC) and Layout-Oriented Storage Control (LOSC).
- Configure Warehouse Order Creation Rules (WOCR).
- Configure Warehouse Tasks and Warehouse Orders.




- Work with Handling Unit Management (HUM).
- Configure and support SAP EWM RF framework.
- Work with Warehouse Management Monitor and resolve warehouse process issues.
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM, and other SAP modules.
- Work closely with ABAP and technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces.
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and support technical development.
- Perform Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
- Provide production support and resolve critical SAP EWM incidents.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for business users and junior consultants.
- Prepare configuration documents, functional documents, test scripts, and training materials.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience.
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM.
- Experience in at least one or more end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Inbound and Outbound Processes
- Internal Warehouse Processes
- Physical Inventory
- Replenishment
- Putaway and Stock Removal Strategies
- Warehouse Process Types (WPT)
- Warehouse Tasks and Warehouse Orders
- Warehouse Order Creation Rules (WOCR)
- POSC and LOSC




- Handling Units
- RF Framework
- Strong understanding of SAP EWM integration with:
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP PP
- SAP QM
- Experience in Embedded EWM and/or Decentralized EWM.
- Ability to independently handle business requirements and provide functional solutions.
- Experience preparing Functional Specifications and working with ABAP developers.
- Robust debugging, problem-solving, and production support skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- SAP EWM certification.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Experience with Warehouse Automation and MFS (Material Flow System).
- Experience integrating EWM with third-party warehouse systems.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications.
- Experience working with SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience leading a small team of SAP functional consultants.

Project Experience The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:

- AMS / Production Support Projects
- Warehouse Automation Integration Projects

Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
