Senior RISE Specialist – to support migration and take over the Managed Service handover (SAP BAU)

Role Overview:

Highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Consultant with expertise in the RISE with SAP model to manage, maintain, and optimize SAP S/4HANA landscape. As a senior member of the team, you will lead BAU activities, handle complex incidents, support upgrades, and act as the primary technical advisor for SAP cloud operations. The ideal candidate ensures high system availability, performance, and seamless integration of SAP BTP components within the SAP RISE environment.

1. Key Responsibilities:

o System Operations & Maintenance: Proactively manage and monitor SAP S/4HANA landscapes within the SAP RISE Private Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and stability.

o BAU Support & Incident Management: Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis (RCA) to ensure quick resolution.

o RISE Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and SAP Managed Services, managing service requests (SRs) and change requests (CRs).

o Upgrade & Patch Management: Plan and execute SAP S/4HANA upgrades, support packages, and database patches, coordinating with SAP to minimize business disruption.

o Performance Tuning: Monitor system health, including HANA database performance, and implement optimization strategies.

o Cloud Integration:



Support the integration of SAP BTP, SAC, and other cloud solutions into the SAP RISE landscape.

o Documentation & Governance: Maintain technical documentation, security policies, and ensure compliance with best practices.

o Mentorship: Guide junior consultants and team members on technical best practices.

o As a senior member of the team, he will lead BAU activities, handle complex incidents, support upgrades, and act as the primary technical advisor for SAP cloud operations.

o He should ensure high system availability, performance, and seamless integration of SAP BTP components within the SAP RISE setting.

1. Certification: Valid SAP Certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private Edition) or SAP Basis.
2. Technical Skills:

1. Strong proficiency in S/4HANA administration.
- Experience with SAP Fiori configuration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Solution Manager 7.2 (Solman), SAP Cloud ALM, or CHARM.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP integration and services.

1. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a client-facing mindset.
2. Preferred Qualifications:

o Experience with SAP Activate methodology (If Poss)

o Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).

o Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
