Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ENT OT for scheduled surgeries and procedures.
- Scrub and assist ENT surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Handle and arrange ENT-specific surgical instruments and sets.
- Assist in procedures such as FESS, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, mastoid surgery and other ENT surgeries.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection-control practices.
- Perform instrument and swab counts before and after procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of ENT instruments.
- Check OT equipment, instruments, sutures and consumables before surgery.
- Assist with patient positioning and surgical preparation.
- Maintain OT records, checklists and inventory.
- Coordinate with ENT surgeons, anesthetists, nurses and CSSD staff.
- Maintain OT readiness and cleanliness between procedures.




- Follow hospital SOPs, safety protocols and biomedical waste guidelines.

Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an ENT OT Scrub Technician is required.:
- Strong practical knowledge of ENT surgical instruments and OT procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy OT environment.
