A Transport Manager is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the transport department, including:
Planning and managing vehicle operations and routes.
Supervising drivers, helpers, and transport staff.
Ensuring timely vehicle placement, loading, unloading, and delivery.
Maintaining vehicle documents, permits, insurance, fitness, PUC, and other statutory records. Monitoring fuel, toll, maintenance, and transportation expenses. Coordinating with clients, suppliers, drivers, and operational teams. Handling breakdowns, delays, accidents, and other operational issues. Ensuring compliance with applicable transport, safety, and statutory requirements. Maintaining daily trip, vehicle, expense, and performance reports. Controlling operational costs and improving fleet efficiency.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
