We are seeking a mid-level QE Automation Engineer to support our financial services platform.
The successful candidate will focus on building scalable end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, while also leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and KIRO to generate, execute, and maintain automated test suites for a financial services platform.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Requirement analysis and test design:
- Review business, functional, and technical requirements to validate expected system behaviour.
- Create comprehensive manual test cases and automated test scripts.
Automation framework and test development:
- Build, maintain, and scale robust end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites covering critical business workflows.
AI and MCP agent development:
- Use GitHub Copilot and KIRO to generate test scripts, optimize code, and accelerate test coverage.
- Create custom AI agents and work with MCP-based agent workflows.
Test execution and CI/CD:
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Execute, monitor, and report on automated test runs.
API testing:
- Design and execute automated tests for RESTful and GraphQL APIs alongside UI workflows.
Defect management:
- Identify, isolate, document, and track defects through resolution using Jira.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers and product managers to identify automation candidates during the design phase.
Financial validation:
- Automate complex financial workflows, including transaction processing, ledger balancing,
and compliance reporting.
Cloud testing environments:
- Leverage cloud-based virtual desktops to run, debug, and validate tests securely.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software QA automation experience.
- Solid expertise in Playwright automation and TypeScript programming.
- Hands-on experience creating custom AI agents and working with MCP agents or MCP-based workflows.
- Proficiency with GitHub Copilot and KIRO to accelerate test lifecycle development.
- Understanding of financial platform architectures, data security practices, or transaction workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Page Object Model, asynchronous execution handling, and API testing.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
