Role Description The Senior Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer role is a full-time, remote position responsible for leading PCB design activities for semiconductor test tools and related hardware. Day-to-day tasks include designing complex multi-layer PCBs, defining board architecture, and performing schematic capture in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. The engineer will optimize board layout for signal integrity, power distribution, and manufacturability, with particular attention to high-speed and RF performance requirements.

Responsibilities also include reviewing and improving existing designs,



generating detailed documentation and manufacturing files, and supporting NPI through design validation and design-for-test considerations. The role involves close coordination with mechanical, test, and production teams, as well as participation in design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong PCB Circuit Design and Board Layout skills, including experience with multi-layer and high-density designs.
- Proficiency in Analog and Radio Frequency (RF) design concepts, including signal integrity, noise mitigation, and impedance control.
- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, preferably with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, Mentor) and generation of fabrication and assembly packages.
- Background in designing PCBs for semiconductor test, high-speed interfaces, or similar advanced electronic systems is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret and create engineering documentation, schematics, and layout guidelines, and to conduct design reviews.
- Comfort working remotely, collaborating effectively across distributed teams, and managing projects with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and reliability in PCB design.
