Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled BI Engineer / Power BI Developer with solid expertise in Business Intelligence, data visualization, reporting, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and enterprise BI solutions that transform complex data into actionable business insights.

The candidate should possess hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and business stakeholder engagement. This role requires close collaboration with business and technical teams to deliver scalable reporting solutions while ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Create intuitive and visually compelling reports that support business decision-making.
- Deliver self-service analytics solutions for business users and stakeholders.
- Translate complex datasets into meaningful and actionable business insights.

Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Translate business needs into effective BI and analytical solutions.
- Facilitate discussions with business users to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting objectives.
- Ensure reporting solutions align with business goals and expectations.

Data Modeling & Transformation

- Design and optimize data models to support reporting and analytical needs.
- Develop data transformations to prepare and structure data for consumption.
- Implement Business Intelligence best practices for model design and performance.
- Maintain scalable and efficient data architecture supporting enterprise reporting.

SQL Development & Performance Optimization

- Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Improve query performance and data retrieval efficiency.




- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in reports and dashboards.
- Ensure high-quality and reliable data delivery across BI platforms.

Data Integration & Analytics

- Work with modern databases and data warehouse platforms to integrate data sources.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless data availability.
- Support data preparation and transformation processes for analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality across reporting environments.

Project Delivery & Collaboration

- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and other technical teams.
- Contribute to BI standards, governance, and best practices.
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience working with modern data warehouse and analytics platforms.
- Ability to convert business requirements into scalable reporting and analytical solutions.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver enterprise BI solutions.
- Solid understanding of Business Intelligence best practices, data modeling, and analytics-driven decision-making.
