Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior PHP Full Stack / MERN Stack Developer with AI & Automation expertise and 7–10 years of professional experience to join our technology team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in PHP, Laravel, React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL, and modern web application development, along with an understanding of AI integrations, workflow automation, and AI-powered applications.

The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, integrating AI capabilities, automating business processes, and contributing to technical architecture and product development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and MERN technologies.
- Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Build modern, responsive front-end applications using React.js.
- Develop backend applications and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop and maintain applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel / CodeIgniter.
- Work with MySQL, MongoDB, and other databases.
- Integrate AI/ML APIs and LLM-based solutions into web applications.
- Develop AI-powered features such as chatbots, intelligent search, content generation, summarization, classification, and recommendation systems.
- Identify business processes that can be improved through AI and automation.
- Design and implement automated workflows and integrations using APIs and automation platforms.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, AI tools, and SaaS platforms.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.




- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in technical architecture, system design, and technology decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other developers.
- Take ownership of projects from requirement analysis through development, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Technical SkillsPHP / Backend
- Solid proficiency in PHP.
- Excellent hands-on experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar PHP frameworks.
- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC, REST APIs, and web services.
- Experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices.

Frontend / MERN
- Strong experience with React.js.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript / ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience developing responsive and user-friendly web applications.
- Experience with Redux or other state-management solutions is preferred.

Databases
- Strong experience with MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
- Good understanding of database architecture, queries, indexing, optimization, and performance tuning.

AI & Automation
- Practical experience integrating OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or other LLM APIs is preferred.
- Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI APIs.
- Experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, or intelligent automation workflows.
- Experience with automation tools/platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar is a plus.




- Understanding of RAG, vector databases, AI agents, and LLM-based workflows is an advantage.
- Ability to identify repetitive business processes and implement effective automation solutions.

DevOps & Tools
- Strong experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of qualified software development experience.
- Strong experience across both PHP and MERN Stack.
- Practical understanding of AI integration and automation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical projects.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.

Preferred Candidate We are looking for a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer who can independently work across PHP + MERN + AI Automation.

Candidates with experience building large-scale web applications, AI-powered products, API integrations, automated workflows, and cloud-based applications will be highly preferred.
