Job Title: International Payroll and Compliance Specialist

Experience: 5+ Years (Mandatory International Payroll Experience)
We are looking for an experienced International Payroll & Compliance Specialist to manage payroll, compliance, taxation, and employee benefits across multiple countries. The role will support payroll operations in the US, UAE and other geographies ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in international payroll governance, regulatory compliance, payroll taxation, statutory filings, benefits administration, and payroll reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively partner with HR, Finance, payroll vendors, and external consultants to ensure seamless and compliant payroll operations globally.
Job Summary:
Global Payroll Operations
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing across geographies like United States, United Arab Emirates etc.
- Process Monthly payroll, Off-cycle payrolls, Variable pay payouts, Annual bonus payouts, Incentive and commission payments, Arrears and retro-payments, Salary revisions, Full & Final (FnF) settlements, Employee reimbursements and deductions
- Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with country-specific regulations and payroll calendars.
Compliance & Statutory Administration
- Ensure compliance with country-specific payroll, labor law, taxation, social security, pension,
and employment regulations.
- Manage statutory filings and remittances across all assigned countries.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement payroll process updates to maintain compliance.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll and statutory compliance.
Taxation & Statutory Filings
- Manage payroll taxation, reconciliations, and reporting requirements across global geographies.
- Ensure accurate calculation, withholding, and submission of Federal, State, and Local Taxes
- Social Security Contributions, Pension Contributions, Employment Taxes, Payroll-related statutory deductions
- Coordinate with external tax and compliance partners to ensure regulatory compliance.
Benefits & Retirement Administration
- Administer country-specific employee benefit programs, including 401(k) Plans (US), End of Service Benefits (EOSB) (UAE), Other statutory and non-statutory employee benefits.
- Ensure correct payroll integration and reporting of all benefit programs.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare payroll and compliance reports for HR, Finance, and Leadership teams.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Generate reports related to: Payroll costs, Headcount, Tax liabilities,
Statutory obligations Compensation and benefit expenses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and Total Rewards initiatives through payroll analytics.
Payroll Systems & Vendor Management
- Manage payroll operations using, ADP Global Payroll, ADP RUN
- Coordinate with payroll vendors, brokers, consultants, and statutory agencies.
- Drive continuous process improvements, automation, and payroll governance initiatives.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of dedicated International Payroll and Compliance experience in United States, United Arab Emirates.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working on both ADP Global Payroll and ADP RUN platforms
- United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, Egypt will be added on advantage.
- Payroll taxation, Statutory filings and reporting, Employee benefits administration, Payroll audits and controls, Vendor management
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of international payroll laws and regulations.
- In-depth understanding of global payroll taxation and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
