Role Description The Senior OPT Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada. The individual in this position will source, screen, and recruit OPT candidates for various IT roles, using job boards, social media, internal databases, and qualified networks.

They will conduct initial interviews, assess technical and cultural fit, coordinate hiring processes with delivery teams, and manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The role includes building and maintaining relationships with candidates, universities, and training partners, as well as keeping accurate records in the applicant tracking system.



The Senior OPT Recruiter will also contribute to recruitment strategies, market mapping, and continuous improvement of hiring processes to ensure timely and high-quality talent acquisition.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in OPT recruitment or IT staffing, including sourcing, screening, and closing candidates.
- Solid knowledge of the U.S. IT job market, common technologies, and typical roles hired under OPT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, job portals, and professional networking platforms for recruitment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple requisitions, and meet hiring timelines.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail and compliance with internal processes.
- Proven capability to collaborate with delivery and HR teams, and to contribute to recruitment strategies and campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience mentoring junior recruiters or leading recruitment initiatives is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Vijayawada and maintain flexible hours when needed to support candidate availability.
