Job Summary

The Income Tax Associate is responsible for assisting in the preparation, review, and filing of income tax returns, maintaining tax records, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws, and supporting tax audits and assessments. The role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and up-to-date knowledge of direct tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies within statutory deadlines.
- Assist in tax computation, advance tax calculations, and tax provision working.
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act and related regulations.
- Maintain and organize tax documentation, records, and supporting schedules.
- Reconcile tax accounts, TDS entries, and tax payments.
- Assist in responding to tax notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
- Support tax audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Conduct research on tax laws, amendments, notifications, and circulars.
- Prepare MIS reports and tax compliance dashboards.
- Coordinate with finance,



payroll, and other departments for tax-related information.
- Monitor tax compliance calendars and statutory due dates.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in direct taxation and tax compliance.
- Knowledge of Income Tax Act, TDS, Advance Tax, and tax return filing procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
