Shift:

Night shift, 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST (aligned with US business hours)

Role Overview The Senior Accountant will lead and review the work of the accounting team supporting Kira Jewels Inc. (USA), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of daily financial operations, with direct reporting to the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and validate the work of team members (AP/AR, journal entries, expenses
- Own daily reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany)
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly management reports
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Identify and resolve/escalate discrepancies or process gaps
- Act as primary point of contact with Kavita for day-to-day finance matters
- Mentor and guide junior team members




- Support audit preparation and documentation

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA-Inter/CMA/MBA Finance a plus)
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, including team review/supervisory experience
- Solid exposure to US accounting processes (US GAAP preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (accounting) and RightClick (inventory); familiarity with ADP (payroll)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation templates)
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable reporting directly to leadership
- Willingness to work night shift consistently
