Job Title: Sr. Engineer_IT Security (Sr. Network Security Engineer)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Fortinet and Check Point firewalls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise-grade network security solutions while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and manage network security architectures across on-prem, data center, and cloud environments.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and Check Point (R80+, SmartConsole, Maestro) firewalls.
- Implement and maintain security policies including NAT, VPN (Site-to-Site & Remote Access), IPS, Web Filtering, and Application Control.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and risk assessments.
- Lead firewall upgrades, migrations, and high-availability (HA) implementations.
- Monitor security events and respond to incidents in coordination with SOC teams.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, etc.).




- Provide L3/L4 support for complex network security issues.
- Collaborate with network, cloud, and application teams to integrate security best practices.
- Document designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience in Network Security of managing large-scale enterprise network infrastructures.
- Profound knowledge of network architecture and technology, including hands-on experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, and other modern networking technologies.
- Extensive experience in managing both NOC and SOC environments
- Solid knowledge of network infrastructures, protocols, and standards such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, etc.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet and Check Point firewalls.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF.
- Experience with VPN technologies, SSL/IPSec.
- Knowledge of IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP, and network segmentation.
- Experience with firewall policy management, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation techniques.

Preferred Certifications:

- Fortinet NSE 4/5/7 or FCP/FCS
- Check Point CCSA / CCSE
- CISSP, CCNP Security (added advantage)
