We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with expertise in legacy application modernization, .NET framework upgrades, system integrations, API development, and automated testing. The ideal candidate should be capable of upgrading older .NET applications, working on enterprise-scale solutions, integrating external systems, and ensuring software quality through unit testing and best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Upgrade and modernize legacy .NET applications to newer .NET versions.

- Analyze existing applications and recommend modernization approaches.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade applications.

- Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

- Refactor legacy code and improve application performance.

- Implement coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

- Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.

- Deploy and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in C# and .NET Framework 4.x

- Experience in .NET migration and application modernization projects





- Good understanding of Life Insurance Agent Lifecycle

- Ability to understand and refactor undocumented legacy code

- Hands-on experience with OAuth2, JWT, RSA, and certificate management

- Experience working with WCF Services

- REST API integrations using HttpClient

- JSON processing using Newtonsoft.Json or System.Text.Json

- Experience with PayPal payment gateway integration

- Experience with DocuSign e-signature platform

- Robust knowledge of ASP.NET MVC

- SQL Server and ADO.NET development

- Unit Testing using xUnit and Moq

- Version control using Git

- NuGet package management

- IIS deployment and troubleshooting

- Experience with logging frameworks such as log4net

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 8+ years of experience in .NET development.

- Strong experience in legacy system modernization and framework upgrades.

- Hands-on experience with authentication and security integrations.

- Exposure to Life Insurance domain applications.

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
