Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deploy integrated detection, segmentation, and multi-object tracking (MOT) frameworks to provide a reliable, real-time world model for the autonomy stack.
- Engineer specialized algorithms for long-range and low-light scenarios, focusing on sub-pixel target extraction and signal recovery in high-noise or cluttered environments.
- Develop and maintain scalable data annotation and curation pipelines, ensuring consistency, traceability, and high dataset quality for training and evaluation.
- Define annotation guidelines, validation protocols, and dataset quality metrics.
- Interpret, analyze, and optimize deep learning architectures including model pruning, quantization, and structural modifications for performance, accuracy, and deployability.
- Perform hyperparameter tuning and model selection, balancing accuracy, latency, and robustness for deployment constraints.
- Optimize models for real-time deployment on embedded platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin), ensuring efficient utilization of compute, memory, and power.
- Apply acceleration techniques such as TensorRT optimization, CUDA kernels, and mixed-precision inference.
- Conduct rigorous validation, benchmarking, and error analysis using both simulated and real-world datasets.
- Debug and resolve perception pipeline issues related to data quality,
model performance, and system integration.
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong foundation in computer vision and machine learning algorithms (classical + deep learning).
- Proven experience solving challenging perception problems such as long-range detection, low-light imaging, and small object detection.
- Ability to understand, modify, and optimize neural network architectures (CNNs, transformers, hybrid models).
- Experience with hyperparameter tuning, experiment design, and performance trade-off analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for production-grade system development.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of image processing and libraries such as OpenCV.
- Understanding of stereo vision and depth estimation techniques.
- Experience optimizing models for embedded platforms (NVIDIA Jetson), including TensorRT, CUDA, or similar frameworks.
- Experience in dataset creation, annotation tools, and data validation workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
- Experience developing and deploying perception algorithms in real-world or field environments.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and system integration skills across perception pipelines.
