Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in the MEP industry. The candidate must have extensive experience working on U.S.-based projects and should be capable of taking complete ownership of projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC and Plumbing , along with the leadership and project management skills required to independently manage projects and coordinate with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage mechanical projects from project kickoff through final delivery.
- Lead HVAC and plumbing design and engineering activities.
- Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and client standards.
- Develop and review HVAC and plumbing layouts, calculations, equipment selections, schedules, and construction documents.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, priorities, and deadlines.
- Perform detailed technical reviews and lead QA/QC activities.
- Communicate directly with U.S. clients, consultants, and project stakeholders when required.
- Identify design issues,



resolve coordination conflicts, and provide technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers.
- Take full responsibility for the technical quality and timely completion of assigned projects.

Requirements

- 10+ years of qualified MEP/Mechanical Engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in both HVAC/Mechanical and Plumbing design.
- Mandatory experience working on U.S. market projects.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. codes and standards, including ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, IBC, and NFPA.
- Proven ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong experience in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Excellent understanding of construction documents, specifications, coordination, and project delivery.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients and project teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred

- Fire Protection experience is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, Lead Mechanical Engineer, or Senior Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience managing multiple projects and engineering teams.
- Experience with BIM/Revit-based project delivery.
- Experience with U.S. MEP consulting firms is highly preferred.
