Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Howrah.

The Senior

Merchandiser will manage end-to-end merchandising activities, including coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of orders.

Responsibilities include product development follow-up, sample approvals, price negotiations, order confirmations, and monitoring production to meet quality and delivery standards. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, tracking shipments, resolving order-related issues, and supporting inventory and display planning for key accounts.

The Senior





Merchandiser will also collaborate with management to identify growth opportunities, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen the company’s market presence.

Qualifications

- Solid Communication skills, including the ability to coordinate effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated Customer Service abilities, with a focus on building long-term relationships and addressing client needs promptly.
- Experience in Sales and Retail , preferably within textiles, garments, or fashion merchandising.
- Knowledge of Marketing principles relevant to apparel and textile products, including product positioning and promotion.
- Prior experience in merchandising or garment/textile production coordination, ideally in a senior or lead role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, order tracking tools) and comfort with reporting and data analysis.
- Relevant educational background in textiles, fashion, business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
