Purpose of the Role
To ensure availability of all control systems in Supply Chain Management. The suitable candidate needs to have hands on experience on handling Supply chain exposure specially in Scheduling and procurement, Manufacturing process knowledge to deal with suppliers, Inventory management, Reprocessing list and its actions to mitigate the risk, delas with the quality issues, Team player. He has to handle spare management, skill development of team. The position will also be responsible to implement Digital projects in line with SQPDCME in SCM field. Above all, he will be responsible for ensuring safety of his own and team.
Job Responsibility
- Scheduling - Able to interprete the production plan and generate the schedule for timely procurement of parts required.
- Inventory monitoring - plan the procurement of part to fulfill production requirement and maintain inventory norms.
- logistics - understand the working of logistics activity to ensure timely availability of parts against plan.
- Vendor management - understand the manufacturing and commercial process so as to interact with vendors to ensure the parts availability.
- SPD requirement - understand and fulfill the SPD requirement along with regular production plan.
- Cost Reduction - Introduce and implement the cost reduction ideas for existing and upcoming models.
- Plant production target - to achieve the yearly target which is spread over month-on-month basis.
- Model migration - to implement the model parts in coordination with the quality and production and APL ensuring NIL obsolescence.
- Driving company initiatives
- Involvement of different plant level initiatives and projects
- Participation of different CFTs to ensure resolution of complex issues.
- Driving division and department level initiatives
- Human Resource Management
- Understanding of part ordering and consumption in system.
- Communication in Hindi, English and local language for supplier interaction.
- SAP – MM and PP module knowledge
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education Qualifications: Degree in Engineering
- Work Experience: 2 to 9 years in Supply Chain Management especially in Scheduling department.
- Preferred Industry: Automobile Industry
