Purpose of the Role

Material Audit function support to Auto and Non-Auto Plants for Inventory accounting of Raw Material, WIP and Finish Goods etc.

Oversight/Audit of all Material Reconciliation activities & Validation and Execution agency for all Plant Manual consumption.

Job Responsibility

1. Classification of Material Class:

Classification of Auto Parts Inventory

Classification of NON Auto Parts Inventory

Planning of Inventory Physical Verification in line with Material Inventory Class

2. Physical Inventory verification Process-Plant Inventory( Auto/NON Auto Parts):

Knowledge on Perpetual Physical Inventory verification Process.

Knowledge on End to End Physical Inventory verification Process.

Material Reconciliation

Coordination with stake holders like Mfg, SCM for Physical Inventory verification readiness and conducting audits

3. Physical Inventory verification Process-MASOP Inventory at Vendor:

Conducting MASOP Inventory Verification Audit at Vendors end along with SCM.

MASOP Inventory Reconciliation.

Work out Inventory variances and Posting in system.

Closure of consumption gaps if found any.

4. Repro Analysis:

Working with CFT SCM, TS-Std1 and Mfg team for repro analysis.

Drive for Corrective action of repro parts and clearance of Repro

In-depth repro analysis for various reasons and its resolution etc.

5. Audit Compliances:

Coordination with Audit agencies like SOX Team, Internal Audit Team and External Audit teams.

Ensure TML PI Policy Inventory Process adherence.

Walk through for Process Improvements for Physical Inventory verification.

Management Count.

6. Safety Management:

Ensure PPE adherences during conduction Physical Inventory verification on shop floor.

Ensure Safety of Audit teams while conducting Physical verification audits on shop floor.

7. BOM Analysis:

Knowledge on BOM analysis for RM and WIP Parts.

Knowledge on various SAP T Codes used on Material reconciliation.

8. VCMS Online system –DCT Clearance:





Validation of consumption gaps filled.

Coordination with all stakeholders like SCM, TS-Std1 and Finance to ensure PCA for manual consumption

Report the repeat Manual consumption cases

9. Other initiatives:

Preparation of MIS on various critical material movement transactions.

Good Knowledge of SAP MM module System.

Preparation of exception reports required by Management

Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point etc.

Prepare and report data basis the laid down guidelines of SOX Compliance, Statuary audit compliance.

Report End to End Repetitive discrepancy analysis & Control

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education : B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/Industrial Engg)
- Relevant Experience :
- Must possess overall experience of 5-12 years in the Supply Chain Management, and must possess sound technical knowledge of Material Auditing, Material reconciliation, Exposure to SAP MM Module of minimum 4-6 years.
