We are looking for a mature, dependable, and relationship-focused Senior Manager – Regional Business Development (North) to serve as a key business coordination and relationship point for the North Region
Role Purpose The Senior Manager – Regional Business Development (North) will serve as the central business coordination and relationship point for the North Region, maintaining direct and continuous communication with the company’s channel partners while working closely with TBMs, ASMs and the regional team.
The position is designed to ensure business continuity, relationship continuity and uninterrupted company–channel communication, irrespective of changes or movement within the field team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Channel Relationship
- Maintain regular direct communication with channel partners across the North Region.
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with key accounts.
- Understand channel requirements, concerns, market feedback and business opportunities.
- Ensure that channel partners always have a direct point of contact within the Regional Office.
1. Coordination with Field Team
- Work closely with TBMs, ASMs and other field personnel for smooth territory functioning.
- Coordinate information and follow-ups between the Regional Office and field teams.
- Support field teams in resolving channel-related issues and requirements.
- Ensure important distributor/account matters are followed through to closure.
1. Business Continuity
- Maintain centralized and updated records of channel relationships, business discussions, requirements and pending matters.
- Ensure continuity of communication during TBM/ASM/RM transfers, resignations, vacancies or territory changes.
- Prevent business disruption caused by sudden changes in field personnel.
- Ensure that important relationships remain connected directly with the company.
1. Business & Market Coordination
- Track regional business developments and market requirements.
- Collect market intelligence and feedback from channel partners.
- Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and other departments wherever required.
- Follow up on orders, dispatches, payments, claims, product requirements and other commercial matters as required.
1. Reporting & Regional Support
- Maintain regular communication with the North Regional Office regarding territory functioning.
- Prepare consolidated updates on channel requirements, pending issues and market feedback.
- Highlight important opportunities, risks and relationship concerns to senior management.
1. Sales Responsibilities
- Monitor state-wise and territory-wise sales performance.
- Coordinate with TBMs and ASMs on targets, achievements and gaps.
- Track orders, billing, dispatches and outstanding payments.
- Follow up on pending orders and business opportunities with channel partners.
- Collect market intelligence, competitor activity and product feedback.
- Identify opportunities for new distributor/channel development.
- Support TBMs/ASMs in achieving regional sales objectives.
- Maintain regular direct contact with key channel partners.
- Prepare weekly/monthly consolidated sales and business reports for the North Regional Office.
- Ensure continuity of business relationships during field-team changes, vacancies or transfers.
- Support the Regional Head/Management in maintaining effective regional operations.
Key Objective To create a permanent and reliable company-side relationship layer with the North Region channel network, ensuring that business and communication continue seamlessly even when field personnel change.

Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture,
Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing/Business Management will be an advantage.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Seeds, Agri-Inputs, FMCG, Distribution, Channel Sales, or a related industry.
- Prior experience in regional business development, channel management, key account management, or sales coordination preferred.
- Strong understanding of distributor/dealer/channel-based business models.
- Experience managing relationships across multiple territories/states will be preferred.
- Solid knowledge of North Indian markets will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
