- To guide the foundries for developments of castings, alloys for our requirements.

- To guide our Q.A. to control quality objectives, try out/ experiments to achieve required parameters
- To guide purchase dept. for metallic component procurements.

Role &

responsibilities :

- Properties of Received material, as per standards. Received material deviations corrections, if needed. Suggestions to CAPA.

- Metallic material quality achievements on property wise.

- Attending, NCR and failure in property achieved, in metallic components.

- NDT failures in components.

- Data collection regarding daily MOP loss due to casting defect
- To give feedback to foundry regarding casting defects & debit the salvaging amount




- To issue the received castings with proper identification to M/C shop dept.

- Study of ASTM standards & prepare Material data sheet for different casting grades.

- Supplier evaluation & reevaluation process.

- Study of ITP & monitor the casting procurement

Preferred candidate profile :

- Attain QA & supplier casting quality issues.

- Participates in inventory activities.

- Co-ordinate & support the internal dept.(Machine shop, QA)

- ISO documentation, facing internal & supplier audits. Follow ISO, EMS, OHASIS activities as per routine & schedule activity.
