Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated manufacturing professional to lead end-to-end project execution for crankshaft machining within our Powertrain Manufacturing function. The role will be responsible for industrialization, process planning, equipment selection, commissioning, process validation, and production ramp-up of advanced machining lines while ensuring world-class standards in quality, productivity, cost, and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong experience in powertrain machining, process engineering, manufacturing project execution, and new line setup.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Lead end-to-end execution of crankshaft machining projects from concept to production readiness.
- Develop manufacturing layouts, process flows, facility requirements, and capacity plans.
- Drive project milestones related to cost, quality, delivery, and timeline adherence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, SCM, Purchase, and Suppliers.

Industrialization & Equipment Commissioning

- Define equipment specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Manage RFQ preparation, technical evaluation, supplier assessment, and equipment selection.
- Monitor machine manufacturing progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead installation, commissioning, trials, and production stabilization activities.

Process Engineering

- Develop and optimize machining processes for crankshaft manufacturing.
- Establish process standards, cycle times, tooling concepts, and line balancing strategies.
- Drive process capability enhancement through technology and engineering improvements.

Quality & Process Validation

- Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)

- Drive operational readiness and production stabilization post-commissioning.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

- FULLTIME AND REGULAR Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other discipline

Experience

- 8+ years of relevant experience in Powertrain Manufacturing, Crankshaft Machining, Precision Machining, Engine Manufacturing, or Automotive Machining Operations.
- Experience in new project execution, machine commissioning, or manufacturing industrialization will be highly preferred.
