Purpose of the Role

To study the various parameters related to Industrial Hygiene, identify the gaps and take corrective actions.

Job Responsibility

- Periodically visit all 7 plants and different corporate offices in India to carry out Industrial Hygiene related walk though survey and qualitative assessment report should be prepared for each plant and office.
- To liaison with different Industrial Hygiene labs, negotiate and take quote for quantitative assessment study.
- Coordinate with plant team and Industrial Hygiene lab for carrying out quantitative assessment study.
- Plan and monitor the quantitative assessment study in plants, coordinate with lab for collating findings.
- To share the findings with plants, make mitigation plan and implement with the help of plant team.
- To study the “Material Safety Data Sheet” (MSDS) of incoming material, connect with respective plant department, safety and health team and give clearance for recent material.
- To study the existing MSDS in different plants and prepare report. To connect with Corporate Health Head and find out feasibility to have safer products in plants.
- To study with the help of industrial hygiene lab, indoor air quality of different offices in plants and corporate offices, collate study findings and take corrective actions.
- Collation of data related to different health parameters of employees and data related to different initiatives and prepare summary at company level.
- To collaborate with BES team for ergonomic study in plants and offices, identify high-risk workstations, prepare report and action plan with the help of BES.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education Post graduation in Industrial Hygiene course with experience of 3 years in industry
- Proficiency in Excel and other basic computer programs
