Purpose of the Role :

- Lead the VMTL Infotainment, Comfort, Controls & Connected Car domain and drive end-to-end delivery of customer-facing electronic and software features across vehicle programs while achieving Cost, Quality, and Time (CQT) targets.
- Responsible for integration of infotainment systems, telematics, connected vehicle services, body electronics, comfort features, HMI, control modules, and software-driven functionalities from concept through production across all NPI gateways.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management & Program Delivery :

- Lead domain development activities from concept to production.
- Deliver infotainment, connected car, comfort and control systems as per program requirements.
- Drive technical project management across hardware, software and vehicle integration lifecycles.
- Ensure timely closure of milestones and gateway deliverables.

System Engineering & Product Development :

- Define feature roadmaps, system requirements and technology strategies for infotainment and connected services.
- Evaluate HMI, telematics, connectivity, OTA, mobile app integration and digital cockpit solutions.
- Develop and release specifications, requirements, software and hardware documentation within PLM systems.
- Define validation plans for functional, integration, cybersecurity, connectivity and user experience requirements.
- Ensure component and vehicle readiness for all program gateways.

Connected Car & Software Integration :

- Drive integration of telematics, cloud connectivity, remote diagnostics, OTA updates and smartphone ecosystem interfaces.
- Coordinate software releases, feature deployment and SDV aligned development activities.
- Ensure interoperability between vehicle ECUs, infotainment platforms, mobile applications and backend systems.

Change & Configuration Management :

- Manage engineering changes, software releases and configuration baselines throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure effective traceability and controlled implementation of hardware and software changes.

Cross-Functional Leadership :

- Lead internal and external stakeholders including CE Office, EE Architecture, Vehicle Integration, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Digital, Suppliers and Strategic Partners.





Program Governance & Communication :

- Establish project reviews, dashboards and escalation mechanisms.
- Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation plans.

Prototype & Validation Management :

- Plan and support prototype builds and feature validation events.
- Drive issue resolution during prototype, pilot and production phases.
- Ensure reliability, usability, connectivity and performance targets are achieved.

Cost & Compliance Management :

- Support budget planning and tracking.
- Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with AIS, CMVR, cybersecurity, software update and connected vehicle regulations and standards.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in Automotive Product Engineering.
- Strong experience in project management, vehicle development and software-intensive feature delivery.
- Hands-on experience in infotainment, telematics, connected car, body electronics or controls systems.
- Experience managing cross-functional vehicle programs and supplier ecosystems.
- Infotainment systems, digital cockpit and HMI integration.
- Connected car technologies, telematics and cloud platforms.
- Comfort and body control systems.
- Automotive communication protocols including CAN, LIN and Ethernet.
- Software development lifecycle, systems engineering and SDV awareness.
- Cybersecurity and software update management concepts.
- Problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, Fishbone, etc.).
- Benchmarking, warranty analysis and field issue resolution.
- Cost reduction, value engineering, ECN and configuration management.
- AIS, CMVR, ECE and related regulatory frameworks.
- Solid leadership and ownership mindset.
- Risk-based and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- High accountability for Cost, Quality,
