About the Role:

Apollo Telehealth is looking for an experienced Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager – Human Resources to lead HR operations and talent acquisition for its growing Telehealth Projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HR operations, payroll, compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, and team leadership, preferably within the healthcare, hospital, medical, or healthcare-project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end HR activities for Telehealth projects, including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, retention, and workforce management.
- Drive talent acquisition for clinical, medical, non-clinical, and support functions across Telehealth projects.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll management, including payroll inputs, attendance, leave, salary processing, statutory deductions, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in coordination with Finance and relevant internal teams.
- Manage and ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, payroll compliance, HR policies, and company regulations.
- Partner with business and project leadership to understand workforce requirements and deliver timely hiring solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the HR and recruitment team, ensuring effective performance and productivity.




- Develop and implement HR processes, policies, and practices aligned with business and project requirements.
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary matters, and HR interventions.
- Monitor HR MIS, payroll reports, manpower dashboards, attrition, recruitment metrics, and other HR analytics.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workforce deployment and project ramp-up.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, payroll audits, and other HR governance requirements.
- Provide strategic HR support to leadership and contribute to overall business and project growth.

Candidate Profile:

- 15+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Strong experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and Employee Relations.
- Proven experience in leading and managing HR/recruitment teams.
- Prior experience in Hospitals, Healthcare, Medical, Telehealth, or Healthcare Projects is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of payroll processes, statutory compliance, labour laws, and workforce management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven healthcare environment.

Preferred Background: Candidates from Hospitals, Healthcare & Medical Industries, or those with experience handling large-scale healthcare/Telehealth projects, will be preferred.
