: Senior Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect (US GEO)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect to join our Design team. Reporting directly to the Director of Design , this role is responsible for leading the design and development of innovative, high-end residential landscape projects from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional design talent with strong client-facing skills and technical expertise. You will work closely with homeowners and collaborate with project managers, production teams, and estimators to deliver award-worthy outdoor living environments that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

- Lead the design process for luxury residential landscape projects from initial concept through construction documentation.
- Conduct site analysis, field measurements, and develop accurate base plans.
- Create compelling conceptual designs, renderings, presentations, and detailed landscape plans that align with client goals, site conditions, and project budgets.
- Incorporate innovative and distinctive design features that elevate project quality and differentiate our work.
- Produce comprehensive construction drawings and technical documentation to support successful project execution.
- Ensure all design deliverables meet company quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.

Client Engagement

- Serve as the design lead during client consultations, discovery meetings, and design presentations.
- Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their vision,



lifestyle, preferences, and project objectives.
- Present design concepts professionally and incorporate client feedback into final designs.
- Participate in plant layout reviews and client meetings during project installation to ensure design integrity.

Project Collaboration

- Partner with estimating teams to value engineer designs while maintaining design intent and meeting client budget requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Production Managers throughout project execution.
- Conduct site visits to provide design guidance, resolve field issues, and ensure projects are installed according to design specifications.
- Support continuous communication between design, estimating, and production teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture .
- Minimum 7 years of professional landscape design experience , including direct client interaction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite .
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Preferred

- Skilled Landscape Architect Licensure (preferred).
- Experience with SketchUp , Adobe Photoshop , and Lumion .
- Experience working with ERP or project management software.
- Background in high-end residential landscape architecture or luxury outdoor living design.
