Senior L3 Production Support Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior L3 Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java microservices and cloud-native environments. The role involves troubleshooting complex production issues, performing root cause analysis, providing quick workarounds within SLA, and collaborating with global teams to ensure platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues escalated from L2 support.
- Perform RCA, identify workarounds, and maintain RCA/Runbook documentation.
- Monitor and diagnose system issues using Datadog and OpenSearch.
- Support REST APIs, backend integrations, and microservices-based applications.
- Develop API validation/automation test cases using Postman and Karate.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and external vendors for issue resolution.




- Support deployments, configurations, and multi-tenant environments.
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements and incident management processes.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of Application/Production Support experience, including 2-3 years in L3 Support.
- Working knowledge with:
- Java 17, Spring Boot,
- PostgreSQL, OpenSearch
- REST APIs, Gloo API Gateway
- Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
- AWS Cloud Services
- GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD
- Postman, Karate
- Experience with Datadog, JIRA, RCA documentation, and Runbook management.
- Robust debugging, log analysis, and distributed systems troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
