Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Instructional Designer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in instructional design and e-learning. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing projects, handling client interactions, reviewing the work of junior team members, and delivering high-quality learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage instructional design projects from requirement analysis to final delivery.
- Analyze learning objectives, design documents, and client requirements to develop effective learning solutions.
- Create detailed and engaging storyboards using MS Word or MS PowerPoint.
- Design learner-centric content, activities, assessments, simulations, games, and other interactive learning experiences.
- Apply learning theories, adult learning principles, and instructional design models appropriately.
- Work closely with SMEs, Project Managers, Visual Designers, Developers, and QA teams.
- Review and provide feedback on storyboards and learning content created by Junior Instructional Designers.




- Mentor and guide junior team members on instructional design best practices and quality standards.
- Take ownership of project quality, timelines, and deliverables.
- Interact directly with clients to understand requirements, clarify expectations, and incorporate feedback.
- Handle client-facing communication, particularly with international clients and stakeholders.
- Review developed courses to ensure alignment with learning objectives, design requirements, and client expectations.
- Work with the QA team to identify and resolve content and functional issues before delivery.
- Maintain project documentation, course folders, and relevant project records.
- Contribute to improving instructional design processes, templates, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of qualified experience in Instructional Design, preferably in e-learning or digital learning.
- Strong understanding of learning theories, adult learning principles, and instructional design models.
- Proven experience independently handling instructional design projects.
- Excellent storyboard development skills using MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong content writing, editing, and instructional design skills.
- Experience reviewing and mentoring Junior Instructional Designers.
- Strong client-facing experience, preferably with international clients.
- Good knowledge of e-learning development processes and quality standards.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Articulate Storyline or similar authoring tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
