- Experience Required: 8 to 12 years
- Requirements: Windows, Client Netcool, Opsview, monitoring and Service Now
- We are looking for a skilled Network Monitoring Engineer with strong experience in ESM monitoring tools such as Client Netcool Omnibus, ITNM, Netcool Network Management (Netcheck) along with exposure to DX NetOps / CA Performance Management / Opsview.
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and proactive issue resolution across network devices like routers and switches.

Essential Job Functions:

- Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure using Netcool/ITNM/Netcheck.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize event correlation and alerting rules.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network incidents and outages.
- Work on alarm reduction, noise suppression, and automation.
- Monitor network devices (routers, switches)



using DX NetOps / Opsview.
- Generate and analyze performance and availability reports.
- Collaborate with NOC, infrastructure, and application teams for issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to SLA and incident management processes.
- Participate in 24x7 support (if required).

Qualifications:

Primary Skills (Must Have)

- Hands-on experience with Client Netcool Omnibus.
- Hands-on experience with ITNM (Client Tivoli Network Manager).
- Hands-on experience with Netcool Netcheck / ESM Monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of event management, correlation, and alerting mechanisms.
- Experience in fault and performance monitoring.
- Ability to configure rules, probes, policies, and automation in Netcool.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise network environments.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with DX NetOps (CA Spectrum / CA Performance Management).
- Experience with Opsview or other monitoring tools.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in network monitoring and management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):
- Client Netcool / Tivoli certifications.




- Cisco (CCNA / CCNP).
- ITIL Foundation.
