What we're looking for

Key Responsibilities

- Create images and illustrations for skilled journals and e-books for digital publications.

- Ensure proper formatting of text, images, tables, figures, hyperlinks, bookmarks, and other digital elements.

- Check image layout consistency, reflow, typography, and accessibility requirements.

- Troubleshoot formatting and rendering issues across different devices and platforms.

- Design and prepare print-ready files for books, journals, brochures, covers, and other publications.

- Work with CMYK, RGB, spot colours, image resolution, bleeds, margins, and printer specifications.

- Perform preflight checks and resolve production-related issues before final delivery.

- Ensure files meet required print specifications and publishing standards.

- Use Adobe Photoshop for image editing,



retouching, colour correction, resizing, and optimization

- Use Adobe Illustrator for vector artwork, diagrams, icons, illustrations, and graphic elements

- Use AI-assisted design tools to generate creative concepts, visual assets, illustrations, and supporting artwork where appropriate

- Explore and implement AI tools to improve productivity and reduce repetitive production tasks.

- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within e-publishing and production workflows.

- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and Adobe AI features relevant to publishing and design.
