WE’RE HIRING | SENIOR GAME DESIGNER

Artemisia College of Art & Design, Indore is looking for an experienced and industry-oriented Senior Game Designer to train and mentor students pursuing our Game Design Degree Program and aspiring to become professional game designers.

The candidate should be able to train students according to industry standards and guide students through practical, project-based game design learning.

Key Responsibilities -

- Train and mentor students in Game Design and industry practices.
- Guide students in creating game concepts and building complete game architecture.
- Teach the role of pacing, narrative, themes, and mechanics in creating compelling gameplay experiences.
- Guide students through the game production pipeline, from pre-production to final game development.
- Conduct practical, project-based learning and help students develop industry-oriented work.
- Guide students in understanding UX/UI principles and their application in game design.
- Teach and guide students in game economics, progression systems, rewards, monetization, and player engagement.
- Collaborate with students on game design projects and development.
- Stay updated with current gaming trends and industry practices.

Required Skills & Experience -





- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Game Design preferred.
- Experience working with F2P mobile games.
- Experience creating casual and/or mobile games.
- Working knowledge of Unity and/or Unreal Engine is optional.
- Strong understanding of game mechanics, pacing, narrative, themes, and gameplay experience.
- Positive understanding of UX/UI principles in games.
- Understanding of game economics, progression, monetization, and player engagement systems.
- Excellent understanding of past and current game trends.
- Complete understanding of the game production pipeline, from pre-production to final game.
- Ability to conceptualize games and build complete game architecture.
- Ability to take initiative and find creative solutions to complex problems.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong-quality game design portfolio is required.
