WE’RE HIRING | SENIOR GAME DEVELOPER

Artemisia College of Art & Design, Indore is looking for a Senior Game Developer to train and mentor students pursuing our Game Design Degree Program and aspiring to build careers as professional Game Developers.

The candidate should have strong industry experience in game development, practical hands-on knowledge of both Unity and Unreal Engine, and the ability to guide students through the complete game development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities -

- Train students in the complete game development pipeline.
- Guide students in developing 2D and 3D games using both Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Develop and teach game programming using C# and C++.
- Translate game concepts and designs into efficient, functional code.
- Guide students in developing gameplay systems, mechanics, and core game features.
- Guide students in debugging, testing, and fixing technical issues.
- Handle and guide programme optimization.
- Help students develop their own games from concept to final playable output.
- Stay updated with current game development trends, technologies, and industry practices.

Required Skills & Experience -

- Minimum 5+ years of skilled game development experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in C# and C++.




- Strong practical working knowledge of both Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
- Strong understanding of game development workflows and production pipelines.
- Knowledge of game physics, AI, graphics, APIs, debugging.
- Performance optimization is required.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Good understanding of current gaming technologies and trends.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to teach students through practical, hands-on learning.
- Strong interest in mentoring and developing aspiring game developers.
- Industry experience in a game development studio is preferred.
- Candidates with a good-quality portfolio / shipped games / playable projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Verse is an added advantage.
