Role & responsibilities To lead piping design, layout, routing, isometric review, material engineering, stress coordination, and vendor interface for EPC projects( specifically in water, waste water and ZLD), ensuring compliance with standards, constructability, project timelines, and quality requirements. To drive piping cost estimation, cost optimization and value engineering; evaluate material and metallurgy selection; and coordinate with vendors, valve suppliers and other package suppliers for technical clarification and commercial price negotiation.

- Excellent understanding of constructability & site feasibility
- Strong decision-making & problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness with ability to develop piping cost estimates and identify cost optimization opportunities (specifically in water, wastewater and ZLD)
- Good understanding of metallurgy selection and material suitability for piping systems
- Ability to interact with vendors/valve suppliers for technical discussions, quotation evaluation and price negotiation.
- P&ID; interpretation, piping layout, routing & space management
- MTO, BOQ, line class & piping specification preparation
- Knowledge of ASME/ASTM/API/AWWA codes
- Understanding of piping stress analysis (preferred)
- Fabrication drawing review, spool review & vendor interface
- Experience in AutoCAD, E3D, PDMS, Navisworks
- Hydrotest planning, flushing, reinstatement understanding
- Piping cost estimation, quantity take-off, rate analysis and preparation/review of BOQ/MTO
- Piping layout and design optimisation for cost reduction, constructability and material efficiency
- Sound knowledge of metallurgy and material selection based on service conditions, corrosion requirements and applicable specifications
