Key Responsibilities

- Work with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) and 4PL (Fourth-Party Logistics) providers to understand order, shipment, warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, and transportation integration requirements.
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain flows across ERP ? EDI/B2B Platform ? 3PL/4PL ? Warehouse/Carrier ? Customer.
- Gather and document requirements for onboarding current customers, suppliers, carriers, warehouses, 3PLs, and other trading partners.
- Analyze EDI transactions commonly used in logistics and fulfillment, including 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, 945, 943, 944, 846, 214, 204, 210, and 997/999, depending on the business process.
- Understand and document order-to-ship, warehouse fulfillment, inventory synchronization, ASN, transportation status, freight, invoicing, and acknowledgment flows.
- Coordinate partner-specific mappings, communication protocols, testing, certification, cutover, and production onboarding.
- Work with logistics and business teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment failures, missing ASNs, order exceptions, acknowledgment failures, and partner-specific mapping issues.




- Understand differences in integration and operating models across 3PL and 4PL providers, including multi-carrier and multi-warehouse environments.
- Support modernization of legacy EDI/3PL integrations toward API, event-driven, cloud-based, or hybrid integration architectures.
- Maintain trading partner profiles, implementation guides, mapping specifications, partner-specific business rules, SLAs, and onboarding documentation.

Required / Preferred Experience 3PL/4PL & Supply Chain Domain Experience

- Hands-on experience working with 3PL and/or 4PL logistics providers.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), ERP, fulfillment, inventory, and shipping processes.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems with external warehouses, logistics providers, carriers, suppliers, and customers.
- Strong understanding of trading partner onboarding and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of EDI-based warehouse, transportation, order, shipment, inventory, and invoice transactions.
- Experience troubleshooting end-to-end transactions across multiple internal and external systems.
- Experience with platforms such as Cleo, IBM Sterling, OpenText, SEEBURGER, Boomi, MuleSoft, Axway, or equivalent B2B/EDI integration platforms is preferred.
