Function: Engineering Implementation

Job Summary The Senior Director Implementation Engineering & Client Management is responsible for leading large-scale product implementation programs, client onboarding initiatives, and technology adoption efforts across healthcare operations. This role partners with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of standard and customized cloud, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

The Senior Director will lead implementation teams, drive client engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle, and ensure that deployed solutions deliver measurable operational improvements, user adoption, and business value. The role focuses on execution excellence, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement while supporting the broader technology transformation vision established by the AVP.

Key Responsibilities

Product Implementation & Client Delivery

- Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise products and technology solutions across client engagements.
- Develop and execute implementation plans, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with client stakeholders to design deployment approaches aligned with business requirements and operational objectives.
- Drive successful onboarding, adoption, and value realization of implemented solutions.
- Manage implementation risks, dependencies, escalations, and issue resolution throughout delivery lifecycles.
- Ensure implementation KPIs, adoption metrics, and client success measures are consistently achieved.
- Support the deployment of AI-enabled and cloud-based solutions while ensuring alignment with established architecture and security standards.

Technology Delivery & Process Excellence
- Establish and drive implementation best practices, standard operating procedures, and governance mechanisms.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure successful product configuration, customization, integration, and deployment.




- Promote standardization across implementation programs while addressing client-specific requirements.
- Drive automation opportunities that improve implementation efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor implementation performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, security, and operational standards during technology deployments.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary implementation leader for assigned clients and strategic programs.
- Build trusted relationships with operational, technology, and business stakeholders.
- Communicate project progress, risks, outcomes, and value realization metrics to clients and internal leadership.
- Facilitate alignment between Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client teams to ensure successful implementations.
- Proactively identify and remove delivery roadblocks impacting program success.

Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead and mentor Implementation Managers, Solution Leads, and implementation engineering teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and capability-building initiatives within the implementation organization.
- Coach team members on implementation methodologies, client engagement, and program execution.
- Develop future leaders through mentoring, training, and cross-functional exposure.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve implementation methodologies, tools, and operational processes.
- Contribute to implementation frameworks supporting AI, automation, cloud, and digital transformation initiatives.




- Evaluate emerging technologies and implementation approaches that enhance customer value and delivery effectiveness.
- Support organizational change management activities to accelerate adoption of technology solutions.

Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications in Agile/Scrum, PMP, SAFe, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are desirable.

Experience Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, implementation management, technology delivery, or client-facing technology programs.
- Proven experience managing enterprise application implementations and large-scale technology deployment initiatives.
- Robust healthcare technology and healthcare operations domain experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and client-facing implementation programs.
- Experience managing client relationships, delivery governance, and complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience driving operational improvements, product adoption, and measurable business outcomes.

- Strong knowledge of software delivery lifecycles, implementation methodologies, and enterprise technology deployments.
- Experience with Agile delivery models, cloud platforms, APIs, integration architectures, and DevOps practices.
