Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and operate highly available production platforms supporting mission-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will work closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability, platform scalability, observability, automation, and operational excellence.

Experience Required

- 5-8 years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern DevOps and Cloud platforms.
- Strong experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
- Experience with on-call rotations, production incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Solid Linux & Systems Administration experience.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of GitOps practices and deployment automation.
- Experience with Artifactory or equivalent repository management tools.
- Hands-on experience with Containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS; Azure/GCP experience is also considered.
- Strong Bash/Shell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong networking fundamentals including:

- DNS

- Load Balancers

- TLS/SSL





- Firewalls

Positive to Have

- Basic understanding of AI/GenAI and practical use of GenAI tools for engineering productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and manage GitOps-driven deployment workflows.
- Manage and support Kubernetes-based production environments.
- Improve platform reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and repetitive operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and release processes.
- Participate in production incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Implement security, reliability, and operational best practices.
- Contribute to observability, monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning.
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
