About Kefilo

Kefilo is building a human transformation ecosystem focused on functional nutrition, preventive wellness, gut health, fitness and lifestyle redesign.

We are building beyond a traditional food-delivery model, combining personalised nutrition, healthy food products, 90-day transformation programs, fitness, technology-enabled customer engagement and scalable food-production infrastructure.

We are looking for a Data Scientist to help build the data and intelligence layer of Kefilo, enabling personalised recommendations, customer insights, transformation tracking and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design data models and analytical frameworks for Kefilo's nutrition, fitness, wellness and transformation data.
- Analyse customer data to identify patterns, behaviours, preferences, risks and opportunities for personalised interventions.
- Develop data-driven frameworks for personalised nutrition, fitness and lifestyle recommendations.
- Build models to measure and track customer transformation across nutrition, fitness, health, lifestyle and engagement parameters.
- Develop customer segmentation and profiling systems based on demographics, goals, dietary preferences, behaviour, engagement and transformation data.
- Build predictive models where appropriate for customer retention, engagement, subscription behaviour, meal preferences and transformation outcomes.
- Work with nutritionists, fitness experts,



food scientists and wellness professionals to convert domain knowledge into structured data and analytical models.
- Design KPIs and metrics for measuring the effectiveness of Kefilo's transformation programs and customer journeys.
- Build dashboards and analytical reports for founders and teams to monitor business, customer and operational performance.
- Support the development of data pipelines, data collection frameworks and structured datasets required for Kefilo's digital products.
- Explore the use of AI/ML for personalised recommendations, customer engagement, forecasting and operational optimisation.
- Analyse food, recipe, nutrition and customer preference data to support product development and menu optimisation.
- Identify data-quality issues and establish processes for reliable, consistent and usable data.
- Work closely with the product and technology teams to integrate analytics and intelligence into Kefilo's digital platform.
- Help build a scalable data and intelligence architecture that can support Kefilo as it expands its customer base, products and transformation ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis and machine learning.
- Experience with Python, SQL, data visualisation and relevant data science tools.
- Experience building predictive models,



recommendation systems or customer analytics is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in healthcare, nutrition, fitness, wellness, food-tech or consumer technology is an advantage.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and translate business/domain requirements into data solutions.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup with limited resources and high ownership.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a long-term data-driven company.

Key Outcome The primary objective of this role is to help Kefilo build a data-driven transformation and personalisation engine that can understand customers, measure their progress and continuously improve nutrition, fitness, engagement and business decisions through data.

Compensation This is an equity-based founding team opportunity with no fixed salary at the current stage. Equity will be structured based on expertise, contribution, responsibility and long-term commitment, subject to a formal agreement.
