ServiceNow Engineer - ITOM

Job Summary:
Primary Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Define and enforce CMDB governance & data quality standards
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow MID-server architecture and the role it plays in Discovery optimization, discovery patterns, Discovery schedules and cloud discovery.
- Perform data audits, health checks, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in ITSM, ITOM, Asset & Vulnerability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions for process alignment.
- Work across other ServiceNow modules and capabilities according to demand.
- Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards, low-code/no-code, configuration-not-customization and other best practices.
- Maintain a high standard of code quality by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code optimizing for performance




- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements and recommend improvements.
- Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in process design workshops and kaizen events.
- Occasional travel both nationally and internationally.
- Other Duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

Required:
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with proven expertise in ITOM, CMDB, Application Mapping, and Vulnerability Management.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow MID-server architecture and the role it plays in Discovery optimization, discovery patterns, Discovery schedules, Cloud discovery, Event Management
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure—including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud services—is essential for accurately modeling configuration items and their rela
